Heritage Pinot Noir

Pence Heritage Pinot Noir is produced from estate fruit grown in the Sta. Rita Hills AVA of Santa Barbara County. The vineyard is located approximately fifteen miles from the Pacific Ocean and is shaped by marine-derived soils, persistent afternoon wind, and fog influence that support slow ripening in Pinot Noir.

Heritage is sourced from select blocks within the estate and is fermented, aged, and bottled on site at the winery. All fruit is hand harvested and processed at the property, maintaining a single-vineyard production model. The wine is aged in French oak and released in limited quantity through the membership and mailing list.
