Blanc de Blanc Sparkling
Pence Blanc de Blancs is produced from estate Chardonnay grown in the western corridor of the Sta. Rita Hills, approximately fifteen miles from the Pacific Ocean. The vineyard sits on marine-derived soils with consistent afternoon wind and fog influence, conditions that support extended hang time and natural acidity for sparkling production.
The wine is made and cellared on site at the estate using the traditional method, with tirage aging prior to disgorgement. All vineyard sourcing, pressing, and secondary fermentation decisions are conducted at the winery, maintaining a single-site production model.
This bottling is released in limited quantity and distributed directly from the estate.
